We kept getting asked at Voiceover Kids “do your kids sing”? Well now we’re able to say “Yes!” World Voices has teamed up with a performing arts college to bring you Singing Kids. But singing is a very different type of gig from straight voice over where actors work from home studios. Kids have to be able to sing together in the same place and at the same time! That means you need a live studio session with a Vocal Director to make sure they all sing in time and in tune with each other. Add a sound engineer to deal with the technical stuff like beats per minute, backing tracks and editing it all together and hey presto you have a team that can bring you finished songs sung by talented youngsters quickly and to a realistic budget.
In our first month we’ve sung songs for language learning courses and we’ve just finished our first Christmas TVC for an Italian biscuit company. Pricing is on a project by project basis starting from £400 plus usage for a simple song with one child singer. Every gig will have a dedicated child safeguarding policy in place and you are welcome to direct the kids yourself over Zoom.
